PLANS to build 12 houses in Hollywood are set to be given the go-ahead on Monday, despite residents' concerns.
The plans for land behind 139-151 Shawhurst Lane also involve creating access and demolishing house number 147.
Shakespeare Properties says the homes will be two storey and include detached, semi-detached and a line of three terraced houses, as well as a 270sq m play area.
But Bromsgrove Council has received four letters from neighbours who raised concerns over drainage, loss of privacy and light, devaluation of property prices and fears that security would be jeopardised.
The plans are recommended for approval, subject to conditions and a legal agreement over contributions towards the provision of education facilities.
