TWO members of staff from Millfields Day Centre in Redditch have been praised by the director of social services for their dedicated work.
Gail Beasley and Emma Greenfield achieved the Learning Disability Award Framework - a brand new award for working with people with learning disabilities.
The award gives staff the flexibility to study in units to enhance and develop skills in all aspects of learning disabilities.
The social services NVQ Centre is accredited with City and Guilds to deliver the award, which comes in two levels and is made up of a number of units.
The two women received their awards at a ceremony at Pershore Civic Centre last week.
