REDS boss Rod Brown is hoping to add a new striker to his attacking options.
Richard Leadbeater from Dr Marten's Premier Division outfit Halesowen Town could be a Redditch United player for the clash against lowly Swindon Supermarine on Saturday (ko 3pm) if he signs a contract.
The Halesowen hitman is a proven goalscorer at Conference level after spells with Stevenage Borough and Hereford United and starting his career playing a handful of matches for Wolverhampton Wanderers first team.
Reds manager Brown has got two or three players in his sights to add to his buoyant squad but he added it probably won't be until next season.
And Brown has warned what looks like an easy game against Swindon Supermarine on Saturday could be a potential banana skin.
"There are no easy games in this league, we do fancy our chances because of the way we are playing," he said.
