TWO victories inside a week have propelled Barnt Green Spartak to the top of Midland Combination division two.
GJ Singh's side defeated Cadbury Athletic Reserves 3-2 last Saturday to add to a 5-0 thrashing of Handsworth United on Tuesday, February 25.
Spartak's 100 per cent home record of 12 wins from 12 was kept intact with Saturday's victory, which saw them 3-0 up at the break through Delroy Brown, Reckey Carter and Simon Campbell.
The visitors scored twice in the last 20 minutes.
Against Handsworth, Carter grabbed a hat-trick and Campbell netted twice.
