AFTER having relegation confirmed at the weekend, Kings Norton are already looking to the new season and angry skipper Pete May has promised to get his side in shape with fitness testing due to start this week.
After a promising start of two wins, Kings have endured a nightmare season in the lower reaches of Powergen Midlands West Four South.
The 13-12 defeat to fellow strugglers Marconi at the weekend was the final straw and summed up the Ash Lane side's season with the visitors throwing away a four point lead to lose in the last five minutes.
Physio Lisa Harrop is set to start testing the players by position with the props being monitored this week.
Kings are set to host North Midlands One neighbours Woodrush in a friendly on Saturday (ko 2.30pm) but could end up going into the fixtures pool because The Old Icknield Street side have a number of outstanding league fixtures to catch up on.
