HOCKEY: Bottom-of-the-table Kidderminster created more scoring chances than Bridgnorth in DTZ League Midlands One but were beaten 4-0 on Saturday.
Kidderminster's failure to convert their opportunities meant a strike from the visitors midway through the first half was the only score before the break.
Bridgnorth doubled the lead shortly after the re-start from a well-worked corner.
A prolonged spell of pressure resulted in a penalty flick for Kidderminster but the chance was squandered when they hit the post.
With time running out, the Shropshire side hit twice on the break leaving Kidderminster struggling to avoid relegation.

In a scrappy but even game, the thirds held their own and frustrated their visitors who are higher in the DTZ League.
Kidderminster increased in confidence as the game went on and looked like taking a point but one mistake let Bridgnorth in for the deciding goal.

The ladies continued their impressive form in Worcestershire League Division Three with a comfortable win to stay top of the league by five points.
With only three games to go, it looks like Kidderminster will gain the only promotion spot.
