PEOPLE around the Vale are gearing up for one of the biggest fundraising days of the year next Friday - Red Nose Day.
Evesham and Pershore Housing Association staff will be following the 'Big Hairdo' theme of this year's Red Nose Day and will be coming into work with some special haircuts.
Organisers of a disco at Evesham Public Hall next Saturday are hoping revellers will also come along with bizarre hairstyles.
DJs for the night will be Banj, Patience, Poison, Briskey and Justin Welch and MCs will be Blast and Lucas.
The disco runs from 7pm to 12 midnight and is for over 18s because there will be a bar. Tickets are £5 and are available on the door.
The owners of The Swan Out & Out pub in Broadway have put their own services up as one of the star lots in a special Comic Relief auction at the pub next Friday.
Karen Jenkins and husband Mark, a chef, have volunteered to cook and serve a dinner party at the home of the winning bidder.
