As a result of members being asked for ideas for outings, a visit to a local Indian restaurant is to be arranged.
The February speaker was Mr Robinson from Mawley Town Farm, who gave a talk, illustrated with slides, on the people of Uganda and told how gifts of cows from farmers in this country have helped them.
The competition for a countryside photograph was won by Stella Wilcox who also came third in the Flower of the Month competition, which was won by Monica Downes, with Vi Griffiths second.
Members are asked to provide a plate of food for the "pot luck" at the March 11 meeting.
At this meeting, names will be taken for a visit to the Tenbury Operatic Society's production of My Fair Lady in April.
