A Mitchell movement was played over five tables on February 25, when Steve Clifton and Nigel Wilkins were first in north-south position with 67 per cent, just one per cent ahead of Gerald and Joy Link.
In the east-west position, David Brown and Terry Lucey were well ahead, achieving 64 per cent, while their nearest rivals, John and Barbara Northfield were on 51 per cent.
The previous week many players were on holiday, so a Howell movement was played.
Bill and Ruth Copp took top position with 57 per cent, followed by Mr Brown and Mr Lucey, and Derek and Barbara Hunt, with 53 per cent.
