PLANS to demolish four unpopular blocks of flats have been given the green light by planning chiefs.
And 31 two, three and four bedroom family houses and six two bedroom flats for rent would replace the buildings off Windsor Drive and Larkhill, Kidderminster.
The development is part of Wyre Forest Community Housing's bid to build more secure and desirable homes for its tenants.
The blocks have been plagued by anti-social behaviour.
Planning officer Paul Wrigglesworth said: "Wyre Forest Community Housing have decided the best course of action is to redevelop by providing family housing for rent."
