Scouts, schoolchildren and soccer players in the Kidderminster area will all be getting new equipment thanks to nearly £14,000 of lottery cash grants.
The grants are part of a £1 million handout in the West Midlands from Awards For All, which helps out smaller community projects.
The top award in Wyre Forest went to Chaddesley Corbett Football Club, which now has an extra £4,068 to spend on line marking equipment, full size and mini goals and nets, and footballs.
The KD 11 (Harkaway) Scout Group in Broadwaters, Kidderminster, will get £2,880 to pay for new camping gear and the Tots R Us toddler group in Kidderminster will be able to buy new tables and chairs with its grant of £1,194.
Marlpool First School in Kidderminster has been given £4,000 to pay staff running after school clubs including keep fit, country dancing and games.
