WITH the Malvern Hills Inter Club League season rapidly coming to a conclusion, it is fairly obvious that the honours now lie with only two clubs and maybe the top spot with only one.
Malvern Victoria struck a purple patch that has stayed with them the whole season and now look unassailable.
Gloucester sadly slipped up on the two occasions when playing Victoria, so one could say that they would be the worthy winners.
Eastnor who have been winners in the past never seemed to get going this year, whereas Ledbury who have struggled in the past have made good improvements to rally into a possible third spot.
The host club Malvern Hills have just failed to find any form this year and without doubt are resigned to finishing at the bottom of the table.
