MALVERN Ladies gained yet another three points, keeping them near the top of Worcestershire Division Three, when they played Worcester Norton IV at Nunnery Wood.
WORCESTER NORTON IV 2, MALVERN LADIES 3
Malvern just had the edge as both teams started strongly and following some fierce attacking from Malvern they took the lead through Jess Izzard.
The second goal for Malvern came following a goalmouth scramble, making it two for Jess Izzard, and just before half time Izzard completed her hat-trick.
In the second half, Worcester altered their players' positions bringing their stronger player back into defence to try to stem Malvern's excellent attack.
Worcester did manage to break away to find the net twice during the half.
But it was not enough to give them the point they desperately needed to keep the mid-table.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Malvern Ladies visit Stourport. Meet at The Chase, 11.15am.
