FISH and chip suppers will be the order of the day at two events in Upton next week.
Both the town branch of the RNLI and the Friends of Upton Primary School are staging fundraisers on Friday, March 14.
The RNLI event is at the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm, when the speaker will be Vicky Phillips, from Barry Dock Lifeboat. A beer and wine bar is available in addition to fish and chips. Tickets are £5, available from John Pountney on 01684 592406.
At Upton Primary School, fish and chips will be served at a family quiz night at 7pm the same night, with prizes for the winning team.
Admission is £3 or £2 for children. People should bring their own refreshments.
