HEREFORDSHIRE Council meets today (Friday) to approve a Council Tax rise.
The authority is faced with two options.
The first is to fund a budget of just over £169 million through a 17 per cent increase in Council Tax. That is an average Band D bill of £947.78.
The second is to use council reserves to cushion the blow, an increase of 14.5 per cent, or a Band D bill of £924.88.
