NICOLE Kidman as Virginia Woolf leads a strong cast in critically-acclaimed movie The Hours (12a). Directed by Stephen (Billy Elliot) Daldry, it intertwines stories about the famous author battling depression, a Californian housewife in 1949 and a book-editor in present day New York. The film, which also features Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Ed Harris and Miranda Richardson, is showing for a week from tonight (Friday) at 7.30pm daily, with 3pm matinees on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday.
