A LIGHTHEARTED look at what makes us tick is being staged in Malvern.
Love is a Many Splendoured Thing brings together the talents of Ad Hoc Theatre Group and the Bransford Singers.
It will be a gentle look at love as seen through the eyes of many famous writers and musicians and will be staged at the Lyttelton Assembly Rooms.
"The evening promises much that is titillating, a little that is naughty, and some hints of vulgarity but nothing that could shock an aging aunt," said Jane Lush, who appears as one of the cast.
The show is directed by Ian Gane and performers also include Pauline Beale, Tony Seldon, John Colley and Andrea Hingley. The Bransford Singers will be directed by Sue Jones and Philip Holland.
The entertainment has already been successfully staged in Winchester and has been entered into the Worcester Arts Festival.
Locally-based Ad Hoc will be known to Malvern audiences through a tour last year of Abelard and Heloise, which starred Jane Lush and Ian Gane and was directed by John Colley.
Love is a Many Splendoured Thing is being performed at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 22.
Tickets are £5 (£3 concs) from the Lyttelton Rooms bookshop, Church Street, and Malvern Priory offices.
Profits from the show are being donated to the Priory Organ Appeal Fund.
