A MAN from Warndon is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of his £3,900 motocross bike, after it was stolen from his garage.
Shaun Adams, aged 35, said he would give £500 to anyone who provided information leading to the recovery of the bike and the conviction of the offenders.
The burglary happened between 2am and 3am on Friday when someone entered his garage by breaking off the door handle.
Garage door
Mr Adams and his partner Claire were sleeping when their neighbour, who was returning home from work, woke them to tell them that his garage door was wide open.
The Kawasaki KX 250 bike is valued at £3,900 and Mr Adams has only had it for two months.
He uses it every Sunday to ride around a dirt track in Dymock, Gloucestershire.
Mr Adams, of Cranham Drive, said he felt "absolutely dreadful" about the theft but felt even worse when his insurance company contacted him.
"The bike is not insured under the house contents," said Mr Adams.
The frame number of the bike is JKAKX250LLA038390 and the engine number is KX250LE029527.
If anyone has any information they can contact Mr Adams on 01905 759310 or 0776 344 3323.
