A MOTHER-of-two could be facing jail after joining other peace protesters at a Midlands airbase.
Kate Holcombe, of West Street, Evesham, has been charged with criminal damage and recklessness and is set to appear at Cirencester Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 42-year-old personal assistant was arrested last Thursday at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, an airbase accommodating B-52 bombers.
Several people have set up a peace camp at the American airbase to maintain a 24-hour vigil against war in Iraq.
Dozens of campaigners throughout the country and the world have been focusing on RAF Fairford to protest against the Government in the run-up to war.
A fleet of nine B-52 bombers stationed at the base was flown over from America on Monday.
The planes are capable of launching an attack in the Middle East direct from the Gloucestershire airfield.
The next large protest by campaigners is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, with an estimated 1,000 people expected to turn up in protest.
