JOHN Brain got back to work today after watching his Worcester side drop from pole position in the race for promotion.
The Sixways director of rugby was at Goldington Road on Saturday to see National One title rivals Rotherham take top spot with a 40-13 win over Bedford.
Worcester enjoyed a much-needed break from action while Rotherham went two points clear at the top with a game in hand. Brain, though, was back at Sixways following his, and the squad's, mini-break raring to go.
"There's all to play for," he said. "We've got six games to go now and I think the squad are refreshed after their break. We fully expected Rotherham to beat Bedford.
"As I've said before, I believe the difficult games for Rotherham are their trips to us on April 12 and Orrell.
"Apart from them, I expect them to win their remaining matches. It's going to go down to the wire."
The Worcester Ladies duo of Nicky Crawford and Joanne Yapp helped England to a 74-0 victory over Spain in the Women's Six Nations Championship yesterday.
Two tries from right wing Crawford and one from scrum half Yapp helped England to a convincing victory at The Stoop.
England lead the Six Nations table following victories over France and Wales.
