CHINESE government workers who have been studying at University College Worcester have returned home with a wealth of new knowledge.
More than 20 students completed a rigorous four-month course in public administration at the St John's campus.
They have been living and working on campus in Worcester and visiting a wide range of different workplaces.
They received their certificates at a special ceremony from UCW principal Professor David Green. A magnolia tree to represent the growing relationship between UCW and the Gansu province was planted in the campus grounds.
The students are all from the city of Lanzhou, which has become better known as being the new base for footballer Paul Gascoigne.
"We are building a very strong relationship with different provinces within China," said John Nixon, head of the China office at UCW.
"They see what UCW has to offer as an important opportunity for the delegates they send, many of whom work within local Government, but also from universities and industry as well.
"This particular group have been a joy to host and we look forward to seeing more delegates from Gansu in the months and years ahead."
