TEENAGER was left with a broken jaw and nerve damage after being assaulted in Evesham town centre.
Following a night out in the town, the teenager and a second man were involved in a dispute with another group of men.
The group of about five men were seen chasing the other two across Cowl Street and caught up with them in Somerfield car park.
They then attacked the teenager, who suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The second man was chased to Swan Lane by one of the group while this assault was taking place, and he was also attacked.
He suffered minor injuries. His attacker then ran back to join his group in attacking the man on the car park.
The more seriously injured man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital and released after treatment.
No description of the attackers nor details of the argument between the two groups are currently available.
The assaults happened at about 12.55am on Sunday, March 2.
"This is a particularly nasty attack on two young men and we are appealing for any witnesses who saw either of the assaults take place or one of the injured men running for help to contact me or PC John McLaren on 08457 444 888," said PC Di Summerton.
