EXPERTS from the BBC's Antiques Roadshow will be in the city this week casting an eye over heirlooms to help raise money for charity.
Henry and Jon Sandon will be at the Guildhall on Thursday, March 13, from 3pm-8pm, offering advice and valuations on any items brought in.
Experts are giving free advice and the event is open to anyone with up to three antique items.
Proceeds from the day will go to Worcester Mayor, Councillor Robert Rowden's nominated charities, Worcestershire Association for the Blind and St Richard's Hospice.
"It's a simple process of pay-on-the-door, and £5 buys you some very worthwhile guidance on the value of up to three items," said Coun Rowden.
"After that, each additional item will cost £1 a time - which is an absolutely fantastic deal.
"I suspect they're going to be kept on their toes for most of the day, and who knows, we may even uncover a few priceless gems," he added.
The antiques valuation day begins at 3pm and ends at 8pm.
