ON passing the Castle Street Branch of the now supposedly closed Royal Infirmary, one evening, I noticed some lights on.

I wondered if there were still some nurses who had not been told that they should be somewhere else.

Or could it be that it has become a repository for the unhappily named bed-blockers in order to make room for more patients at the new hospital? It could be asylum seekers, I suppose.
