BILL Davison (You Say, Saturday, March 1) suggests to Colin Hope that if he wants a store, he should speak directly to Tesco and they will be happy to build a store at Grove Farm.
Bill has a short memory in that protesters like him prevented a store being built at Grove Farm.
In fact, protesters prevented another store being built on old Eltex site.
I would also remind him that St John's covers a large area and people would welcome another store to give them more choice.
A new state-of-the-art school would be most welcome at no costs to the taxpayers.
