NEWLY-converted farm buildings have been snapped up by a European flooring company for its UK head office.
Ryelands Business Centre is a barn conversion at Elmley Lovett, near Droitwich, providing approximately 6,500sq ft of office accommodation around a central courtyard parking area.
Marketed by Humberts, in Worcester, the business centre will be home to Grndorf UK Ltd and Terhrne UK Ltd, the UK subsidiaries of Terhrne International GmbH, of Germany, who produce and distribute wooden flooring throughout Europe.
The offices will be their UK headquarters, from where they will co-ordinate marketing and distribution throughout the country.
The centre consists of offices and training rooms and can also accommodate seminars for Grndorf's clients.
Bernhard ter Hrne, chairman of the German holding company, said the firm had taken a 10-year lease, underlining its commitment to investment in the UK.
"We were attracted to Ryelands Business Centre due to its accessibility from the motorway and ultimately Birmingham Airport," he said.
"Yet it provided quality office accommodation in a peaceful, rural location. "
Ryelands Business Centre is situated just off the A442 Droitwich to Kidderminster Road, at Elmley Lovett, 10 minutes drive from J5 of the M5.
