A VOCALIST 'with gravel in his throat' is needed to complete a rock band, which is keen to hit the music scene.
Baz Lane, the former lead guitarist of Bromsgrove band Easy, has joined another original rock group but a talented vocalist is now needed to complete the line-up.
When Easy split up some months ago Baz went on the lookout to find an already established band with similar goals and ideas and finally found happiness with Blackened, of Cradley Heath.
"The group has been around for about 18 months and like me, they are only interested in playing original material - no covers or tributes," said Baz.
"But now we are looking for a lead vocalist to complete the set up so we can hit the gig circuit again.
"We are looking for someone with a voice for rock music, or shall I say, with gravel in their throat. We don't want anyone who could sing with a boy band," he added.
Gig scene
He also said they must be within reasonable age and preferably have their own transport, as many of the rehearsals will be held in Cradley Heath in the West Midlands.
"Obviously we want someone who is committed, no one who is going to mess us around. We have laid down a number of tracks and we are ready to hit the gig scene - we just need a vocalist," continued Baz.
