Dear Editor - May elections, apparently start here.
The town meeting last Monday was noticeably agreeable and the chair - the mayor - tried to be pleasant to most of the questioners.
Because of the many bad planning decisions, several Droitwich residents are standing for election. Party politics should not affect local decisions. Independents will support the views of the people who have been ignored for the last few years.
Disgruntled councillors from all other parties, and people who have been deselected for speaking out, may wish to join us. Independents will speak out for people without the political whips requesting loyalty.
A meeting will be convened shortly for interested people to ask questions, and consider candidacy.
Jim Brant,
Droitwich.
