NEW College sixth formers will be passing on their knowledge of the tourism industry when they work with youngsters at a Redditch first school today.
The travel and tourism students will be working with Year 4 pupils at Tenacres First School, Quibery Close, Winyates, running games and activities associated with tourism.
Course tutor Malcolm Hall said: "Students are required to take part in a tourism-related practical project involving interaction with outside bodies or organisations.
"The activities planned include an airport experience, in which the students will simulate an airport check-in procedure followed by a flight, with pupils role-playing the flight and cabin crew.
"The children will be given passports, tickets, boarding passes and luggage, with security checks being part of the whole process."
Other activities include a tourist attractions game, round the world board game and flag making.
