TOWNSFOLK looking to shape up for the summer are being urged to boogie on down to a fitness class with a difference in Stoke Prior.
For some months, residents have been flocking to the Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club for a Boogie Bounce exercise class, which was launched by Louise Joynes.
However, with the thoughts of bikini bodies at the forefront of the minds of most, Louise, of Droitwich Spa, has found an extra few places in her class for energetic residents.
Exercises
"I am looking to fill the last few spaces available with people of all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels who want a very different way to exercise," said the qualified instructor.
"Boogie Bounce is a series of exercises, mainly aerobic, performed on an individual trampoline, choreographed to funky, motivating music," she explained.
Louise also said the trampoline acts as a shock absorber for the body, which causes less stress on joints and improves body tone. It also helps boost the immune system and combat cellulite.
Fitness levels
"The only way to know whether Boogie Bounce is for you is to try it. And the joy of Boogie Bounce is you can keep it to your own level until your fitness levels increase," added Louise, who lives off Tagwell Road.
And the energetic participants have also found time to don a red nose and raise cash for this year's Comic Relief this Friday.
If you would like to join in the fun, call Louise on 07811 726368.
