BUDDING jugglers, fire eaters and stilt walkers in Alcester are being called on to make this year's Easter celebrations go with a swing.
With a month to go, the town's Easter Monday preparations are well under way.
So far, proceedings have been organised for an 11am start with Alcester Victoria Silver Band heading the parade from Bleachfield Street up High Street.
The Court Leet, Easter bonnet and children's fancy dress competition entrants will follow the band, accompanied by various town organisations and members of the public who want to join in the fun.
After the parade, a variety of entertainment including local and amateur music and dancing will be staged in and around Alcester Town Hall up until 1pm.
This will include a storyteller for children, an Easter egg hunt, face painting, a bouncy castle and various static displays, including the results of a school painting competition.
And this year, organisers are appealing for more residents to boost the street entertainment throughout the day.
Anyone who would like the chance to perform can call Alan Loader, of Alcester Churches Together, on 07770 872892.
