VAL Cowell of the UK Independence Party seems once again to be suggesting that West Midlands in Europe is some kind of government-in-waiting (You Say, March 3).
But back in October, I pointed out that WMiE is actually a not-for-profit partnership that provides impartial advice and information about the EU to public bodies, businesses and voluntary organisations in the region (You Say, October 17).
How could Val have forgotten this so soon?
