Bookworms were in their element for World Book Day.
Children from Meadows First School and Catshill First School dressed as their favourite book characters last Thursday.
Pam Townsend, headteacher at Meadows, said the day had been a great success.
"The children and parents all made a fantastic effort in creating some beautiful costumes and everyone enjoyed themselves," she added.
Front L-R: Ryan Carver, Stephanie Cartlidge, Eleanor Hubbard, Shola Docker, George Andress, Tia-Louise Wakelam and Joshua Parkes.
Book fanatics at Tardebigge First School held a book fair with some of the proceeds going to children in South Africa.
Bromsgrove School's events included a tea party, multi-media swap of books, magazines, computer games and DVDs, a Harry Potter competition and treasure hunt.
