CHARACTERS from classic children's novels leaped from the pages and into Spa classrooms on Thursday.
Schools across the town hosted a variety of events to celebrate World Book Day.

Chawson First School pupils organised a competition asking children to design the best book cover or bookmark.
Children at Cutnall Green First School dressed up for the occasion and a string of Harry Potter, Cinderella, Thomas the Tank and Mr Men look-a-likes arrived for classes.
