DROITWICH Spa golf ace John Bickerton secured a top 20 place and £13,000 at the Dubai Desert Classic.
The 33-year-old fired a last round of 71, one under par to finish on seven under for the tournament at the Emirates Golf Club to share 20th position.
John, who shot a first round of three under par, was ten shots behind winner Robert-Jan Derksen.
Tomorrow (Thursday) sees the Upton Warren resident begin his challenge in the Qatar Masters.
