SIXTEEN Bromsgrove Olympique Cycling Club riders have taken part in the first of an eight-race Midlands time trial series.
The programme, which started last Sunday, is organised by Bromsgrove Olympique, Lichfield City, Brereton Wheelers and Wolverhampton Wheelers.
Races are under five miles and are designed to attract young people over 12-years-old.
The Olympique event, on lanes around Himbleton, was won by 16-year-old Liam Preece from Wyre Forest with Olympique youth riders Peter Banham, Will Goulbourne and Ross Dingley second, third and fifth respectively.
