Tenbury Ladies 0 Worcester Norton Ladies 5-
TENBURY entertained league leaders, Worcester, and were totally outplayed by the league challengers.
The first half was explosive with the pace of the game flowing fast from Worcester. Tenbury's defence was bombarded, and only the brilliance of Kailee Hurdiss prevented them from an early lead.
Rachel Croxton and Jo Croxton were strong in defence and midfield and tried in vain to open up Worcester's midfield and defence but found a barrier even they couldn't penetrate. Worcester did, however, manage to weave their way through Tenbury's defence and scored two quick goals, to finish the first half with a two-goal cushion.
In the second half, Tenbury went on the attack with sweeper Olli Linton, making several weaving runs through Worcester's midfield but their chopping tackles went undetected and broke down Tenbury's fight back.
Worcester went on to score three more goals this half and left the game way past Tenbury's reach.
Players of the match went to sisters, Rachel and Jo Croxton.
Next week Tenbury play Worcester Norton III at Bridge Street, Leominster.
