Kinver 2 Tenbury United 3-
BRETT McIntosh blasted home the winning goal in the third minute of injury time, his first goal for two years, to snatch victory for Tenbury and consolidate their second place in the Kidderminster League Premier Division.
With a strong wind at their backs Kinver dominated the first quarter and, but for a combination of poor finishing and good saves from Byron Davies, could well have gone two goals clear.
Tenbury shook off their early lethargy but fell behind to a 36th minute penalty, awarded when Ashley Botwood was har-shly adjudged to have brought down the Kinver striker.
It was a different Tenbury who came out for the restart. They immediately went on the attack and after sustained pressure forced a corner. Botwood's swinging corner kick found Aaron Morris at the far post and he headed back across the goal for Ian Mason to slide home.
Kinver hit back immediately and regained the lead when Tenbury failed to close down the home striker who ran at the heart of the visiting defence before hitting the target with a crisp drive.
Tenbury pressed for an equaliser but were held by a gritty home defence until 10 minutes from time. Ryan Morris, always a danger down the left, rounded his man before cutting in and beating the home goalkeeper at the near post.
With time running out Karl Pearson broke to fire a swerving shot towards the corner of the net. The goalkeeper could only parry the ball to the supporting McIntosh who fired home to snatch a last gasp victory.
