A COMMUNITY group trying to revive an old Studley tradition meets tonight and those interested are welcome to attend.
The group hopes to organise a late-night shopping and market evening just before Christmas, which used to be held annually until a few years ago.
The Rev Richard Deimel, of Studley Parish Church, said it was a popular night but took some planning.
Shops would open late and carol singers would be out and about in the High Street and Marble Alley area of the village.
Those interested in attending tonight's meeting or need more details can call Mr Deimel on 852830.
Meanwhile, Mr Deimel said the church had decided to team up with Studley CoE Junior School this year for a summer fete on July 5.
Both normally hold separate fetes so this year's will be much bigger with the combined efforts of church and school.
