A MULTIPLE car pile-up on a main road in Malvern caused massive disruption during rush-hour traffic yesterday evening.
The smash between the four vehicles occurred at junction of Poundbank Road and Barnards Green Close at about 4pm.
One man, who was driving a dark grey Ford Focus, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by air ambulance.
He is said to have suspected neck and chest injuries. This morning, a police spokeswoman confirmed his injuries weren't believed to be life-threatening.
The drivers of the other cars - a red Peugeot 106, a white VW Caddy van and a white Vauxhall Combo - were not seriously hurt.
The collision resulted in the road being closed for about an hour and a half, causing long tailbacks.
