STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers has cautiously welcomed proposals for an expanded Nationwide Conference but says he is sceptical about the changes coming into place for the new season.
Chambers was set to be without defender Ian Mitchell and goalkeeper Matt Pugh for last night's planned trip to lowly Cradley Town.
Mitchell is unavailable and Pugh is struggling with a knee injury so young Danny Watson will continue to deputise.
Veteran striker Steve Cooper was doubtful with a cricked neck.
Having booked a final against either Lye Town or Castle Vale KH in the Worcestershire Senior Urn with last week's 5-1 demolition of Alvechurch, Studley will try again to reach the last four of the Polymac Services League Cup at home to Quorn on Tuesday (ko 7.45pm).
The attempt to play the quarter final on Saturday was undone by a waterlogged pitch.
But before the cup tester, Studley entertain Bridgnorth on Saturday (ko 3pm).
