UP-and-coming Tenbury flautist, Victoria Guise, has been chosen to play at a concert with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on March 25.
Since early February, Victoria, a pupil at Tenbury High School, has been involved in special workshops for music students and teachers at the Elgar Centre at Broadheath near. Worcester
As part of the orchestra's composition and performance project, Victoria will join other students at Symphony Hall in Birmingham for morning rehearsals, sit in on a seminar and watch the full orchestra rehearse for their concert.
In the evening, she will join other students to perform New Music from Old Tunes, a musical piece commissioned for the concert.
