FOES RACE NIGHT: Held on Friday, March 7, at The Bell Inn was a great success. About 50 people enjoyed the racing and betting and the buffet supper provided. Thanks go to all the race sponsors, those who came along on the night, those who bought raffle tickets and to Mrs Christine Millward for the technology behind the betting system and the horses. Special thanks go to The Hattery (a local hire business whose profits go to animal charities, 01386 751051) for the loan of the wonderful ladies hats worn on the night. Figures are not finalised but about £300 was raised for school funds.
