HOCKEY: Kate Bailey scored five goals to lead Stourport Ladies to their third eight-goal victory in three weeks, beating Camp Hill.
The ladies are lying fourth in their division, just one point behind Bromsgrove who they entertain on Saturday.
Camp Hill pushed forward in the opening minutes but Stourport soon took a grip.
A Bailey hat-trick and one goal for captain Fran Long put them 4-0 ahead by the interval but the match was proving tougher than the previous two fixtures.
However, Bailey and Long extended the lead to six goals to take the match out of Camp Hill's reach. Melissa Kennedy and Bailey rounded off the goal haul.
Cresconians 2 Stourport 2nds 3
Despite squandering a 2-0 lead, Stourport managed to take all three points off the Worcestershire Division Two leaders.
Stourport enjoyed a dream start, being 2-0 ahead inside 10 minutes through goals from Kerry Walker and Rosie Connolly.
Cresconians began their comeback in the second half with a break-away goal followed by another 10 minutes later.
But Stourport were not to be denied and found the winner through Walker.
Stourport 3rds 1 Malvern 4
Malvern set out their stall in the first two minutes of the Worcestershire Division Three match but were unable to add to their tally until the second half.
Stourport pulled a goal back through Lucy Holmes who unleashed an acrobatic shot following good passing by Sarah Polfreman and Annette Kirk.
The visitors scored again soon after and sealed the victory with a penalty flick.
Fixtures, Saturday: Stourport 1sts v Bromsgrove (2pm), Bromsgrove v 2nds (TBA), Kidderminster v 3rds (noon).
