ATHLETICS: International runner Matt Vaux-Harvey was the first Kidderminster and Stourport team member to complete the fourth of the Birmingham Cross Country League Division One races.
Vaux-Harvey came 10th at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, while Alan Jackson was the second Wyre Forest runner in 23rd place.
They were supported by Tom Kenderdine (31st), Steve Gould (72nd), Gary Corbett, Rob Chrzan and Bob Park.
As this was the final race, the result on the day gave the team an overall position of ninth from 13 teams, ensuring they will stay in Division One next season.
