BOWLING: The Aces won both their Gilt Edge Short Mat League matches to hit the top five for the first time this season.
They comfortably beat Untouchables 22-11 but had to fight harder against Brintons, winning 21-18 after being held to an 8-8 draw in the second half.
Brintons B lost 21-14 to Blakedown and 23-8 to leaders Tornadoes, despite being in early control.
Disciplined bowling by Tornadoes pulled them back into the game for a win which was especially important as Invincibles dispatched struggling Wribbenhall 32-9.
A grandstand finish was set up for the final games to determine who wins the league.
Tornadoes have 135 points with a possible six next match, while Invincibles have a game in hand so could add 12 points to their 127.
Dire Straits, who have struggled all season, took three points off Crusaders in a 23-15 defeat.
Other results: Brintons A 18, Chester Road 16; Stourport 18, Squirrel 10.
