A REPORT issued today highlights ''important weaknesses'' in the housing service provided by Redditch Council.
Audit Commission inspectors have awarded the council just one star for its ''fair'' housing service and have said prospects for its improvement are uncertain.
The inspection, carried out between December 2-6, was the first of its kind and the report, which also highlights strengths of the service, has pin-pointed areas which need to be changed.
