EVESHAM College's Soccer Academy staged its annual Football Festival at Evesham High School earlier this month.
Participating teams came from Evesham, Prince Henry's and Alce-ster High Schools and Winchcombe School.
The Festival is run to provide an opportunity for local players to display their football skills both as individuals and as team members.
College students acted as coaches and referees for the day as part of their Junior Football Organisers Course qualification.
Players were guided through various training activities by a professional coach and the day was rounded off with a mini tournament - won by Evesham High School.
Due to its success, a larger event is planned for next year with the involvement of more local schools. For details telephone Lee Perry on 01386 712655.
Results: 1 Evesham HS A; 2 Alcester HS; 3 Prince Henry's HS; 4 Evesham HS B; Winchcombe.
