ROBINS fell to their second successive single goal defeat after dominating most of the match.
Peopleton took the lead in the opening few minutes when a long-range shot came back off a post. Keeper Tom Bennett saved the follow-up but couldn't keep out the third attempt.
The Robins then laid siege to the Peopleton goal but a fierce shot from Elliot Grady that thudded against the crossbar was the closest they came to an equaliser.
They continued to push forward after the break but their defence still had to cope with counter attacks. It was Peopleton who held for a victory that has dented United's hopes of an Ambassador League championship.
