PLANS will soon be submitted for a state-of-the-art medical centre in Inkberrow.
The original plans for the facility are now being amended and a site near the village school has been earmarked for the project.
Wimpey Homes, which has an option on the land, has agreed it would give a portion over to the scheme.
Wychavon district and parish councillor Audrey Steel said: "This medical centre has been in the pipeline for about four years so we're all elated that things seem to be progressing and we're starting to move forward with the project."
Initial plans were shown to the public but certain aspects have to be altered before they are submitted to Wychavon planning officers.
The centre will be developed by Matrix, a company based in Harbourne, Birmingham.
